A FREE 1-day training course for the Learning and Skills sector Aim: This day aims to offer participants the opportunity to attend two workshops on teaching and learning Functional English, Mathematics or ICT Target audience: Functional Skills, Key Skills and Skills for Life tutors Tutors involved in embedding Functional Skills Managers responsible for Functional Skills development Content: On this training course we aim to; Explain the functional skills standards and their implications for teaching and learning Explain some differences between the levels using the four differentiation factors Develop approaches to teaching and learning Build on best practice in teaching and learning
